Folic Acid

• Folic Acid is an essential B-complex vitamin needed prior to conception to help protect against Neural Tube Defects (NTDs) which affect the brain and spinal cord. Folic Acid should be consumed at least 3 months prior to falling pregnant.

Iodine

• Iodine is essential for babies’ healthy growth and development.
• Iodine deficiency in infants is associated with an underactive thyroid gland and brain development issues.
• Iodine is important during pregnancy to support the mother’s thyroid gland and energy production.

Vitamin D3

• Vitamin D is needed to maintain healthy immune function and supports strong teeth and bones. Health experts recommend a higher intake of Vitamin D for a healthy pregnancy.

Iron

• Iron needs increase during pregnancy. Iron supports healthy energy levels throughout pregnancy and is needed for babies’ normal growth and development. Iron helps to carry sufficient oxygen throughout the body and supports healthy immunity.

Vitamin C

• Vitamin C supports assists the absorption of Iron and is needed for mother and baby’s immune system.

Zinc

• Zinc is essential for both mother and baby. Zinc is an essential reproductive mineral and needed during pregnancy for babies’ growth and development. It is also essential for mother to help with changes in skin as baby grows and to ensure adequate breastmilk production.

Biotin

• Biotin is needed for a healthy nervous system and is found in high concentrations in breastmilk.

Choline

• Choline is needed for the production of healthy cell membranes.

• Gluten, wheat, egg or artificial sweeteners

• None when taken as directed.

Adults: Take 1 tablet daily with food. Take for at least 1 month prior to conception. If you have had a baby with a neural tube defect, seek specific medical advice. Or as directed by your healthcare professional. Not suitable for children.
